Pocket CLI

GUIDE

Start with one Mac

You need a Mac that stays awake with Claude Code installed and signed in, and an iPhone you control.

1. Set up the Mac

  1. Install Claude Code and sign in with its official flow (claude auth login).
  2. Open Pocket CLI on the Mac and connect this Mac's CLI. To add another account, open Settings → Manage local CLI accounts.

2. Pair your iPhone

  1. On the same network, your iPhone finds the Mac automatically over Bonjour.
  2. Away from home, open Remote access on the Mac. The wizard helps you connect an ngrok tunnel with your own free account.
  3. Generate a pairing code on the Mac. On iPhone, tap your avatar → Hosts → Scan Mac pairing code. Codes expire after five minutes and work once.

3. Continue a session

Open any session from its project, or pick a folder on the host to start a new one. Paste images or attach files. Choose the model, thinking mode and effort the host offers.

Archive, delete and restore

Long-press on iPhone or right-click on Mac to archive or delete. Deleted sessions stay restorable for 30 days under Archived → Recently deleted.

Tasks keep running on the host when you leave the app. Remote access pauses while the Mac sleeps or is offline.
